Wolverine lives up to his namesake: he is dark in coloring, well-built, but not overly tall or broad, with a muscular build that can border on stocky and is never less than ripped. He’s not unkempt, but not particular about grooming as his hair is often thick and unruly, his face shadowed with stubble and his sideburns grown out. He favors jeans, wifebeaters, flannel and boots, and rarely is he seen without his dog tags. He comes to the village during X2, just after being shot. He arrives unconscious, a bullet slowly working its way out of his brain as he heals from the injury.

NOTES ON CANON: Wolverine comes primarily from XMEN movie canon. That is the source I draw on, as I have little to no familiarity with the comics. I have some knowledge of the cartoon series, and I'm basically a fan of all the movies. I will insert comic/cartoon canon if and when I see fit, and will address any conflicts in the movie canon as they occur (i.e., his wartime service in Vietnam versus his encounter with Xavier and Leshner in the Sixties, his knowledge of Emma Frost, history with Deadpool, etc.).
